A Helsinki-based UX/UI designer with a passion for solving complex problems. On top of my UX/UI design experience, I am also well-versed in service design and the facilitation of workshops. Currently I am especially interested in cognitive accessibility, design systems and DesignOps.
In my free time I enjoy photography, learning about new interesting things and doing all things creative.
I am currently doing a 6-month internship at Terveystalo as Junior Designer.

During this period of working at Notio Design I worked mainly on three customer projects.
The first project was a service design project with a focus on digital learning for Skills 4 Live Tech. In this project my main tasks were leading the team and designing and facilitating workshops. The second projects was a redesign of an existing website for the degree programme of Digital Design at Metropolia UAS. During this project my tasks were UX/UI design as well as designing and facilitating workshops. The third project involved the creation of a visual brand identity and website design for Nordic Sphere – an up-and-coming new firm. In this project my main tasks were leading the team, UX/UI design for the website and graphic design of the new visual brand identity and logo.
Additionally I helped other teams when those projects had needs for an extra set of hands – mainly in UX/UI design.
Website projects for two small to medium-sized IT consulting companies.
The first project was a website UX/UI design for a new firm. In this one I also developed the website with WordPress and Oxygen Builder. The other project was a website UX/UI redesign for an older firm with additional graphic design aspects. The latter one included working in tandem with a developer who was in charge of developing the redesigned website.
Digital design studies have a strong focus on user-centered design, critical thinking and the underlying logics of how services work. Digital Design studies focus on user interface and user experience design, service design methods, concept development, content production and implementation technologies.
The studies included both design and coding courses, topped with multiple customer projects. During my studies I specialized myself in UX/UI design, service design and facilitation. In my advanced studies my focus was on cognitive accessibility, design systems and DesignOps.
The aim of my thesis was to study how a list of design system specific cognitive accessibility heuristic principles could be developed. Additionally, the study aimed to observe how well this list of principles would work as a tool for the heuristic evaluation of a design system’s cognitive accessibility.
Grade: 4/5
I am an Advisory Council Member (Student Representative) during 2024 at the Design (Media majors) Advisory Council.
Student representatives are ordinary students who have been chosen by student union METKA to represent students’ viewpoints and needs in the decision-making processes at Metropolia UAS.
Each degree in Metropolia has an advisory board. These boards have student representatives that represent students’ viewpoints in the decision-making processes. The advisory boards maintain the connection between work life and the university and act as an expert in teaching in this field. The advisory board covers issues such as curriculum reforms.
During this period of volunteering as a board member at Demoni ry – the student association of culture students in Metropolia UAS I have worked on multiple projects.
As the Head of Communications my tasks have included for example website upkeep and UX/UI design of new pages and features, improving social media visibility with more cohesive content and more frequent communication and designing visual identities for student events.
Sorry, currently unavailable for new work!
